Barrack Street (trad) arr. Gren Bartley

Well here is something interesting for you all; a good friend of mine, "Big Dave", 
requested this for me to tab. It is my version of the song Barrack Street made famous 
by Nic Jones on his Penguin Eggs album. Unfortunately the "tab monster" reared it's 
ugly head and has created an absolute horror of a transcription. Best of luck.... I 
promise that it is much easier to play in real life.


The song has quite a syncopated strum/picking pattern which I have tried to put across. 
Each time there is a * under the chord, that means hit the guitar strings with the back 
of your fingernails in a downward motion (kind of banjo style) to create a percussive 
effect. I have written the chords above the score as a guide. I'm afraid I don't know 
what the Em7(?) is. A recording of this is available on Tom and my e°g° CD.
